Submissions open

We are currently accepting poetry and essay submissions on the topic of our technological society, science, and the built and natural environment for Vol II, Issue 2 of our literary journal, ionosphere. The submission deadline is May 31st, 2025, and the anticipated publication date is in late July 2025.

ionosphere Vol 2 Issue 1 availble now

The literary journal ionosphere focuses on the relationship between science, technology, and the human experience. This third issue highlights poems that examine the influence of science and technology on our lives, the varied experiences of individuals from diverse backgrounds and identities, and the interplay between the natural and constructed environments in original and thought-provoking ways. The 19 featured authors represent both established and new voices.

This issue features poetry and essays by D. C. Nobes, Ed Ruzicka, Vaughn Hayes, Kiki Johnson, Nicholas Grooms, Glenis Moore, Benjamin Jorgenson, Mark Saunders, Sam Williamson, Erin Wood, J. L.
